Malte Martin

Of German origin, Malte Martin is a graphic designer influenced by a variety of designers and movements.I would say that he is rather a graphic-plastic designer. Indeed his work is interesting because of painting, substance, shadow and light...
He is a graphic designer for dance company, theatres, concerts, and creates posters and fliers for them.
Malte Martin tries to transmit a certain freshness, a spontaneity. He uses photography and words to evoke emotion.
Malte Martin aims to catch the eye of the passerby, and make him or her want to go and see the play or the concert.
The artist has the greatest esteem for the spectator. He considers them as sensitive and intelligent people and not as customers. He wants them to feel emotion, the meaning of the picture, and its particular atmosphere. Therefore, Malte Martin's work has a personal approach that leads him to build urban installations. His work is considered to be joyous, fragile, sensitive, and ephemeral.Words hold great importance in his work because it's perceived as sounds or resonances. The choice of typography, the size of words, the transparency used, take part in communicating emotion.considered as a sensitive artist, and one who is attentive to viewer's emotion.
